The isolation valves are welcomed by Corgi and comply with the European Gas Appliance Directive, test certificate number: BG/EC 87/98/131. They connect (copper to copper) directly on to the fire inlet, or can be assembled to act as the inlet connection on the fire in the assembly line. Many local councils are now insisting they are fitted so as to reduce their installation costs. Large savings on parts can be made when replacing the old design restrictor on the installation and a time saving of up to 15 minutes is not unrealistic.
